The United World Colleges Scholarships Programme offers the opportunity of completing the last two years of high school at one of the 17 United World College schools across the world; in Pisa-Tuscany, the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies has been chosen as partner institution where the first meeting for the scholarships programme presentation will be held on October 22nd at 4.00 pm.

Alberto di Minin, professor of Management at Sant’Anna School, is responsible for the cooperation agreement with the United World Colleges for the 2017-2019 scholarships programme which will be presented to candidates and parents by United World Colleges alumni lecturing on benefits and advantages derived from studying in an international environment.

The programme provides funding for 42 scholarships to Italian citizens or residents, students of secondary schools in their second or third year of attendance who wish to study abroad and gain a beneficial experience. The scholarships will be provided at Sant’Anna School in January 2017 after the selection process is completed.

“It is a unique opportunity to attend courses taught in English– explains Alberto di Minin – and joins an international student community. At the completion of two-year course of studies the students earn their International Baccalaureate diploma. Some former students of the United World Colleges were admitted to Sant’Anna School in the past years and that is one of the valid reasons why the cooperation between Sant’Anna School and the United World Colleges is fruitful and successful”.
